The air quality in Ukraine, which has been at a low level for several days in certain cities, is expected to deteriorate sharply in March. A dirty cloud is approaching the country.
This is indicated by data from the weather radar Ventusky. According to these reports, it will cover Ukraine as early as March 1.
The pollution will persist for several days. During this time, it is claimed that in some regions the air will be unhealthy, while in others it will be very unhealthy.
According to the site's predictions, the worst situation with dirty air is expected in Zhytomyr. There, on March 2, pollution levels are projected to reach 317 units (very unhealthy level).
On March 1, the cloud is anticipated in the western and eastern regions, and by the 3rd and 4th, it will also cover the central and southern areas.
It is worth noting that on February 27, air quality in Kyiv slightly improved compared to previous days. However, according to data from SaveEcoBot, it remains primarily at a moderate level.
Recall that we previously reported that on February 24, a high level of air pollution was maintained in Kyiv. Specialists recorded an increase in harmful substances. The likely cause of the air quality deterioration is the accumulation of dust, as low-wind conditions under high atmospheric pressure do not aid in the dispersion of pollutants.
