The official spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, is a fervent propagandist, often associated with a negative reputation: she has been repeatedly accused of outright lies, rudeness, and insults. Once, she even shared personal photos from her wedding, which sparked intense discussions online.

Like any representative of her country, Zakharova is expected to uphold her status and pay attention to her appearance, but back in 2005, she broke this rule on her own wedding day. The ceremony took place in New York, where she was working at the time.

The Russian bride's wedding dress appeared cheap and vulgar: the lace was unevenly stitched, the white satin looked shabby, and the belt resembled a tie. The addition of gloves only worsened the situation. Shiny tights visually weighed down her already not-so-slim legs.
