During the Russian missile attack on Ukraine on the morning of Friday, December 13, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv. Residents of the capital united to wait out the attack in the city's metro.

Reporter Yan Dobronosov from "Telegraph" was present there, capturing exclusive footage.

The air raid alert in Kyiv was announced early in the morning. Families, along with their pets, sought refuge in the underground.

Some people were sleeping, while others sat quietly, scrolling through their phones. A child played, and pets patiently waited for the moment they could return home.

The number of people at one of the metro stations was quite high. They were waiting out the air raid both on the stairs and near the platform.

As a reminder, on December 13, Russian forces launched missiles at Ukraine, including "Kalibr" missiles, and also executed ballistic attacks. Additionally, the enemy deployed a MiG-31 into the sky, triggering alerts across the entire country. Air defense systems are actively operating, including in the Kyiv region. Explosions were reported in Kharkiv, Poltava, and Khmelnytsky regions. The enemy is targeting energy infrastructure.

As reported by "Telegraph," around 6:25 a.m., an explosion occurred in the city of Kremenchuk in the Poltava region. Preliminary reports indicate that air defenses were active, as Russian forces attacked the city using ballistic missiles.
