Severe frost and precipitation are expected in Ukraine: what will the weather be like on December 12th?

On Thursday, December 12, strong frosts and snowfall are expected in Ukraine. In some regions, the rain will gradually cease, leading to dry and frosty weather.

This was reported by meteorologist Natalia Didenko. She warns of the arrival of the anticyclone Ernst, which will bring dry weather to most areas of Ukraine. However, in the eastern regions, an atmospheric front will still linger, meaning that rain and wet snow will continue.

Nevertheless, most regions will experience dry weather on Thursday, December 12. Gusty winds from the northwest are also possible.

At night, the air temperature will range from 0 to -4 degrees Celsius, while in the south it will fluctuate between -1 and +3 degrees. During the day, the overall air temperature in Ukraine will range from -3 degrees to +3 degrees Celsius.

In Kyiv, wet snow is expected, but the day will be precipitation-free. The wind in the capital will be northwesterly and brisk. The air temperature will vary between 0 and +2 degrees Celsius.

Didenko warned about the formation of ice on the roads of Ukraine. Additionally, she cautioned about severe frosts in most regions, which will intensify starting December 13.

Earlier, "Telegraf" reported that four major cities will be without electricity for half a day during the severe frosts.
