Emergency power outages have returned to Ukraine. Several regions have been affected due to regular Russian strikes on energy facilities.
This includes the Sumy and Poltava regions. Local authorities and regional energy companies have reported this.
According to data from "Sumy Oblenergo", emergency outage schedules were implemented in the region under the directive of "Ukrenergo". These schedules became effective at 9:06.
"Consumers in the Konohtop district (5th queue) and the Romny district (1st and 2nd queues) have been disconnected," the message states.
It is important to note that on the morning of October 28, local authorities reported about a Russian strike on energy facilities of critical infrastructure in the Konohtop district.
Another region experiencing outages is Poltava. Since 9:01, emergency outage schedules have been implemented in the Myrhorod and Lubny districts. The load shedding volume is 25 MW.
Let us remind you that we previously reported that Ukraine is close to reinstating power outage schedules.
