In Dnipro, due to scheduled work this week, electricity will temporarily be cut off for some residents.

It was previously reported that Ukraine would not implement power outage schedules due to the cold weather.

This was stated by the Minister of Energy, Herman Halushchenko.

According to him, the only reason for implementing power outage schedules could be new Russian shelling.

"Temperature does not affect the outage schedules. The only thing that matters is the consequences of the attacks," Halushchenko said.

The head of the Ministry of Energy added that due to significant damages, power outages that have been introduced in recent days are limited.

"I want to say that on Sunday, unfortunately, we lost a large generating capacity, and it is still unknown how long it will take to restore. More time is needed to assess the damage. But we see a significant level of damage," the minister stated.
