On February 8, 2025, power outage schedules have been announced, indicating whether preparations for power shortages are necessary.

This is reported by Politeka.

Emergency power outages were implemented on February 7 in eight regions, and "Ukrenergo" has urged Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly during the restriction period.

Emergency power outages were introduced in eight regions of Ukraine on February 7.

According to "Ukrenergo," the reason for the outages is the aftermath of Russian missile and drone strikes on Ukraine.

On February 7, emergency outages were enforced in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and partially in Cherkasy regions.

At the same time, "Ukrenergo" added that industrial consumers are prioritized for disconnection where the situation permits.

Currently, restrictions are not applied to residential consumers, with exceptions for emergency situations in Oblenergo networks.

Emergency outages will be lifted as soon as the situation in the energy system allows it.

As of now, power outage schedules for February 8, 2025, are not yet available; however, it is likely advisable to be prepared given the regular restrictions observed recently.

"Please use electricity sparingly during the period of restrictions," the company urges Ukrainians.
