One client shared their experience on the forum of the website "Minfin".

The client is outraged that the bank ignores changes made through the app, referring to Oschadbank as a social vampire: "Don't take anything here - incompetent staff, management, and rates higher than others!"

According to bank representatives, SMS notifications are a separate paid service that allows clients to receive timely information about transactions on their accounts.

The monthly fee for the service is 10 hryvnias (120 hryvnias per year). Moreover, having the service activated in the app does not affect its deactivation.

Unlike modern technologies, it is not possible to independently disable SMS banking through the app. To do this, you need to:

  1. Visit an Oschadbank branch in person.
  2. Write a request to deactivate the service.

The bank offers an alternative: connecting free push notifications in messengers like Telegram or Viber.

If the bank continues to charge for outdated services, clients can file complaints with the National Bank or submit requests through the bank's official website.

It is also advisable to keep screenshots of settings and payments as evidence to resolve disputes.
