The Australian government has implemented its largest package of sanctions against Russia since February 2022. This information is reported on the website of the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as informed by UNN.

It is noted that 70 individuals and 79 legal entities have been subjected to these restrictions. The sanctions target Russian government officials, organizations from the defense, transportation, and financial sectors of Russia, as well as those who "spread misinformation that undermines Ukraine's reputation."
Additionally, further restrictions have been imposed against individuals whom the Australian government believes are involved in deepening cooperation between Russia and North Korea.
Moreover, Australia has banned the supply of drones, their components, and any services provided to Russian entities by Australian companies related to drone technology.

The authorities of New Zealand announced a package of additional sanctions against Russian citizens and enterprises in support of Ukraine. The list includes 27 individuals and 25 legal entities. These sanctions will affect those involved in Russia's military-industrial complex and its energy sector.
