Sweden could allocate 1 percent of its annual GDP to Ukraine and should encourage other European countries to do the same. This was stated by one of the founders of the initiative group "Russia, Get Out of Ukraine," the well-known Swedish activist Mats Adler, in his article for Svenska Dagbladet, as reported by UNN.

It is noted that Adler, along with like-minded individuals, has been protesting against the Russian aggressive war by standing outside the Russian embassy in Sweden "every Wednesday for three years."
According to him, despite claims about an "existential threat to the freedom of Europe," Swedish and other European politicians are doing too little to ensure Ukraine's victory.
He also emphasizes that allocating 1 percent of the annual GDP to Ukraine is a far more economically effective way to counter the Russian threat than "investing resources in each individual country to arm themselves against the growing threat following a possible Russian victory in the war in Ukraine."
"Russia is experiencing a sharp economic decline. With current Russian military investments, a collapse will occur sooner or later. This has happened twice in the last hundred years: in 1917 and 1990. If Europe stands up for Ukraine, we will witness the third collapse of Russia," Adler concluded.
Recall
Sweden will provide Ukraine with air defense systems worth a total of 1.2 billion Swedish kronor (almost 113 million dollars). This was announced by the country's Foreign Minister, Maria Malmer Stenergard. According to her, Kyiv will receive, in particular, the Robot 70 and Tridon Mk2 systems.
