Petrykivka painting is one of the most vibrant symbols of Ukrainian culture. These patterns can be found on contemporary ceramics, textiles, building facades, public transport stops, and even in the interiors of public spaces. This unique decorative art, which originated in the village of Petrykivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, has become a true brand.

Historically, Petrykivka painting was an integral part of the daily life of local residents. In Petrykivka and nearby villages, the walls of homes were adorned with exquisite hand-painted ornaments. Before the advent of wallpapers and modern decorative materials, people found ways to beautify and cozy up their homes. Craftswomen used homemade brushes and natural dyes.
