A footballer from Kharkiv has secured his first trophy in Brazil.

Kharkiv native Maksym Voronov has claimed his first Brazilian trophy with the "Atletico Paranaense" U20 team.

This was reported by the Telegram channel KHARKIV SPORT CITY, as conveyed by "Dumka".

It is noted that the victory for Kharkiv was secured by the 18-year-old graduate of the Metalist youth football school. Voronov’s team emerged as the champion of the Copa Sul Sub – a prestigious youth tournament in Brazil.

"Voronov is a representative of the talented cohort of youth from the yellow-blue 2006 generation, playing within the structure of the Brazilian club and recognized as one of the promising young footballers of "Atletico Paranaense," the message states.
