If you need to undergo this procedure, here’s how to do it, reports the Ministry of Health on Facebook.

First, visit your doctor. They will evaluate your condition, conduct necessary tests, and, if needed, refer you for a disability assessment.

Prepare important documents: passport, tax identification number (if available), medical papers confirming your diagnosis and current health status. If you have previously been granted disability, be sure to bring the old documents.

Depending on your condition, the assessment can be conducted in person, remotely, via telemedicine, or with a home visit from an expert team.

Your doctor will enter your information into the electronic system and assist in selecting a location for the assessment. After that, an electronic referral will be generated.

At the chosen facility, an administrator will verify that all documents are in order, and the system will automatically schedule the date and time for your assessment.

Assessment by an expert team

Experts will review your case. If your disability is confirmed, you will receive a decision and recommendations for rehabilitation. If additional examinations are needed, the expert team will refer you for them. All decisions will be made no later than 30 days.

If you disagree with the decision, you can appeal it through your treating physician or file a complaint with the Functional State Assessment Center.

Important! All documents issued before the end of 2024 will remain valid and will be accepted for obtaining benefits and allowances.
