In Kharkiv region, a shop assistant was penalized for selling alcohol to minors.

In the territory of the Krasnokutsk community in Kharkiv region, the sale of alcohol to minors has been uncovered.

This was reported by the communication department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the police, a shop assistant in the village of Koziivka was caught selling alcohol to a 16-year-old girl. An administrative protocol was drawn up against the violator under part 2 of Article 156 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (Violation of the rules for the sale of beer, alcoholic beverages, low-alcohol drinks, tobacco products, electronic cigarettes, and liquids used in electronic cigarettes, devices for consuming tobacco products without combustion).

A preventive conversation has already been held with the child's parents. The sale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products to minors carries administrative liability and imposes a fine ranging from 6,800 to 13,600 hryvnias.
