The Pension Fund regularly conducts checks on subsidy recipients and may stop providing assistance for various reasons, such as expensive purchases like real estate, vehicles, or currency. Additionally, a family member's actions can also lead to the loss of subsidies.

This concerns individuals who have traveled abroad. If a household member is outside the country for more than 60 days, they will not be counted when calculating the subsidy. In some cases, this could result in the loss of utility payments.

To avoid negative consequences, Ukrainians are advised to inform the Pension Fund of family members' departures abroad within 30 days. It is also important to disclose any other changes that may affect the size of the subsidy or eligibility for it.

The agency regularly verifies data in state registries, so sooner or later, violators will be discovered. If subsidies were granted during periods when the household was no longer eligible, the funds will have to be repaid to the Pension Fund.
