Russia has made advances in three areas of Donbas (battle maps).
It is the 1004th day of the full-scale war with Russian occupiers. From the beginning of the past day, November 22, until 22:00, there were 187 combat clashes on the front. The Russians achieved success in three directions.
According to data from the DeepState portal, the enemy advanced near Velyka Novosilka (south of Kurakhove), Razdolne, Maksymivka, Pustynka, and in Toretsk. Changes in the front line are shown on the map.

"Extremely difficult times in Velyka Novosilka; just today (November 21, – ed.), the enemy stormed with several columns. One of at least 5 armored vehicles attacked Velyka Novosilka itself, another 2 armored vehicles moved into the thickets south of Razdolne, and at least 6 armored vehicles entered Razdolne, dropping troops in the village. The enemy was moving along the highway from Shakhtarsk on ATVs and light vehicles. From Zolota Niva, a column of several armored vehicles led by a tank landed troops 3 km east of the hangars near Velyka Novosilka", analysts reported.
They added that, unfortunately, the defense proved to be not very reliable, which the Russians took advantage of. They were able to relatively quickly mobilize reserves that were expected to be used for assaults towards Razliv.
As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in their update as of 22:00 on November 22, the most Russian attacks occurred in the Pokrovsk direction. There, the Russians conducted 40 assault and offensive actions. The occupiers were most active in the areas of Myroliubivka, Lucha, Lisovka, Sukhy Yar, Pustynka, Hryhorivka, Dachenske, Petrovka, and Pushkine.
"According to preliminary estimates, today (November 21, – ed.) our soldiers eliminated 130 occupiers in this direction and wounded 160. Two tanks, one BMP, eight units of automotive equipment, a mortar, and two ATVs were destroyed. Additionally, four tanks, one mortar, and one ATV were damaged", — the General Staff informed.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the Russians also tried to advance intensively. There were 35 combat clashes there. Fighting took place in the areas of Berestkove, Sontsivka, Dalne, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove, Yekaterinivka, Romanivka, and Antonivka.
As reported by "Telegraph," by the end of November 2024, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will present a reform plan that will implement a "corps-brigade" system. This system will significantly save human and material resources.
