Russians are advancing towards the Dnipropetrovsk region, with an analyst predicting when battles may commence there.

The analyst doubts that it will be possible to stop the Russians.
Аналитик сообщил, что россияне могут начать наступление на Днепропетровскую область в ближайшее время.

With each passing day, Russians are getting closer to the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region. At this rate, the war could spill over there within the next few weeks, as the Russians have only about 7 kilometers left to cover.

This was reported by military analyst BILD Julian Röpke. He refers to Russian forces located southwest of Pokrovsk.

"Since the beginning of the year, the Russian army has captured eight villages south of the strategically important city of Pokrovsk, and it seems that their advance cannot be stopped," he states.

According to him, the Russians are attempting to bypass the city rather than storm it head-on.

Röpke mentions that the occupiers "barely encounter resistance on the ground," although they are constantly subjected to attacks from Ukrainian drones. He also believes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine can only slow down the advance of the occupiers, but cannot halt it.

The analyst predicts that fighting in the Dnipropetrovsk region could commence within the next few weeks.

As a reminder, analysts previously reported on the area of Ukrainian territory that the Russians seized in 2024.
