Today marks the 1,043rd day of the full-scale war against Russian occupiers. Since the beginning of the last day, December 31, there have been 191 combat engagements on the front. The Russians made advances in the Donetsk region.
According to DeepState's data, the enemy may have advanced in Kurakhove. Additionally, the occupiers made progress in the area of two villages in the Pokrovsk region — Solene and Volkove, which are located 14 and 12 km west of Pokrovsk.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported that the highest number of enemy attacks on December 31 occurred in the Pokrovsk direction. There, our defenders thwarted 57 assault and offensive actions by the Russians. The enemy attempted to advance towards the settlements of Zelenoe Pole, Baranovka, Novotoretske, Luch, Lisovka, Myrnograd, Kotlino, Solene, Shevchenko, Novoaleksandrovka, Dachenske, Zelenoe, Novy Trud, Volkove, Pyschane, and Novovasilyevka.
In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 20 Russian assaults. The enemy concentrated its main offensive efforts around the settlements of Petropavlivka, Dachne, Ukrainka, Shevchenko, and Kurakhove.
In the Vremivka direction, the Russians launched 11 assaults. Fighting continued near Konstantinopol, Dachne, Razliv, Velyka Novosilka, and Neskuchne.
The Russian army was also active in the Lyman direction, where it attacked 19 times. The Russians attempted to advance near Nadezhda, Pervomaisk, Zelenaya Rosha, Novoegorovka, Yampolevka, Ternov, Dibrova, and in the directions of Druzhlyubovka, Cherneshchyna, and Novosergeevka.
