Bananas

Unlike citrus fruits, bananas have remained almost at the same price level. Their average price has only decreased by 68 kopecks, now standing at 60.90 UAH/kg.

Experts explain the drop in citrus prices by several factors:

  1. Seasonal supply peak. Before the New Year holidays, the import of citrus fruits significantly increases, creating a high supply in the market.
  2. Reduction in logistics costs. Thanks to stability in the transportation sector, price spikes have been avoided.
  3. Decrease in demand for certain items. During the holiday period, Ukrainians typically opt for the most affordable options.
