In Kharkiv region, the year 2024 has been challenging due to the shelling of critical infrastructure, but the situation has managed to stabilize.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, during the telethon "Unified News," as conveyed by "Dumka."
"The first strike occurred in March 2024, when over 30 missiles hit our infrastructure and various enterprises. Kharkiv experienced a blackout for nearly two days. A subsequent strike happened in April with the use of 'Shaheds.' The enemy also attempted to finish off everything that survived the first attack. Therefore, our primary task was to do everything possible to restore what was lost and to consider the distribution of energy, particularly regarding modular boilers, etc.," he noted.
According to Synegubov, thanks to the allocation of over 2 billion UAH from the state, preparations for the heating season were successfully completed, and the decentralization of the energy supply system for Kharkiv and the region was set in motion. As a result, each locality now has its own movement plan.
