In the mountains, a resident of Kharkiv was caught in a snowdrift while trying to escape to Romania.

Using drones, border guards from the Chernivtsi unit detected a resident of Kharkiv who was heading towards neighboring Romania.

This information was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, as conveyed by "Dumka".

"The border patrol was dispatched to intercept, and within a few minutes, they apprehended the violator. The Kharkiv resident attempted to cross the state border by circumventing the checkpoints," the statement reads.

Shortly thereafter, the violator was taken to the border unit. An administrative violation was filed against the Kharkiv resident.

"Border guards once again warn all those considering illegal 'extremes' in the Carpathians. Such journeys are dangerous to life and health," the State Border Guard Service urges.
