Today, January 10th, a fire broke out in a 16-story residential building in Kharkiv.
This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the State Emergency Service, the fire started at 1:12 AM in the Industrial District. Household items and furniture covering an area of 6 m² were ablaze on the fourth floor. A 76-year-old man was injured.
In total, firefighters rescued eight individuals, including a child. The preliminary cause of the fire is a short circuit in the electrical wiring.
Simultaneously, another fire occurred in the village of Vysokyi in the Kharkiv district. There, an area of 2 m² of flooring caught fire. A 42-year-old man was injured. The cause of the fire is being determined.
