Yesterday, January 6, residential buildings in Kharkiv and Vasyshchevo caught fire – rescuers saved three individuals.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the rescuers, on January 6, at 11:33 AM, a fire broke out in a nine-story residential building in the Novobavar district of Kharkiv. Household items ignited on the balcony of an apartment on the third floor, covering an area of 2 m². Rescuers saved a 65-year-old man, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Another domestic fire occurred in the evening in the village of Vasyshchevo in the Kharkiv district. Items on the second floor of a five-story building caught fire, also covering an area of 2 m². During the firefighting efforts, rescuers evacuated a 37-year-old woman, but a 38-year-old man was injured. The fire was extinguished by 10:01 PM, and the causes of the incident are being determined.
