In Kharkiv, an electricity supplier was penalized, leading to the return of 3 million UAH to the budget.

In Kharkiv, 3 million UAH has been returned to the budget, which was unjustly received by a local enterprise at one time.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, according to "Dumka."

According to the prosecutor's office, in March 2021, a contract for the supply of electricity was signed between the state scientific center of Kharkiv and a limited liability company. Subsequently, the transactions significantly reduced the volume of purchases and increased the price per unit of goods. As a result, the scientific center overpaid the supplier by almost 3 million UAH.

The court granted the prosecutor's request in the interests of the state and declared the additional agreements to the procurement contract invalid, ordering the return of the funds. It is known that this national center is a state budget-funded non-profit scientific institution. Therefore, the recovered amount will be transferred to the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
