In Kharkiv, the restoration of a high-rise building damaged during shelling on January 23, 2024, in the Kyiv district is nearing completion.

According to the city council, specialists have already restored the damaged structures of nine floors in one of the entrances and the technical floor. They have also repaired 1,400 square meters of roofing and 3,000 square meters of facade.

Additionally, new windows have been installed in the apartments and common areas, as well as external doors, and partially restored damaged engineering networks.

As previously reported by "Dumka", on January 23 at around 4:00 AM, Russian forces shelled Kharkiv with missiles. A fire broke out on a gas pipeline, damaging residential buildings. The second missile strike on the city by Russian troops occurred around 7:15 AM. As a result of a direct missile hit, many residential buildings were damaged. A fire broke out at the scene. Rescuers are searching for people under the rubble. Currently, there are reports of 8 fatalities and 62 injuries.

The third missile strike was recorded in Kharkiv on January 23 at approximately 10:05 PM.
