In Kharkiv, serial production of demining vehicles will be launched.

The Kharkiv enterprise has introduced a mechanized demining machine, which will be a significant step in addressing the issue of mined areas in the region.

This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, as reported by "Dumka".

According to him, a new mechanized demining machine was presented in Kharkiv on December 21.

Synegubov noted that the machine fully complies with European standards and is considerably cheaper than foreign counterparts. Its price ranges from 530,000 to 550,000 euros, while imported models start at 1.2 million euros.

In the region, 120,000 hectares of forested areas, 13,000 kilometers of power lines, 3,000 kilometers of roads, and 570,000 hectares of agricultural land are potentially mined.

"Our machine does not fall short in any specifications; in fact, it excels. This is already the second machine. The first one had a working element in the form of a roller, and 2 such machines were purchased for the State Emergency Service using regional budget funds. The machine is already in serial production, with several units ready." After passing certification, the machine will be available for sale," said Synegubov.
