A man in the Kharkiv region will face trial for strangling his own mother.

A man who strangled his own mother will face trial in the Kharkiv region.

This was reported by the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the prosecutor's office, on November 14, a gathering took place at the man's home in one of the villages of the Lozova district, where he lived with his mother, and they were drinking alcohol.

It is known that a sudden argument arose between the man and his 60-year-old mother. He grabbed the woman by the neck and held her until she stopped breathing.

Currently, the man is in custody. He faces up to 15 years in prison. An indictment has been submitted to the court against the 34-year-old man for intentional murder (Part 1, Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
