In the Kharkiv region, the regional Medical and Social Expertise Center will be dissolved, with its functions transferred to the regional hospital.
This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Council, as conveyed by "Dumka".
During the session of the regional council, deputies discussed issues related to the reform of the medical and social expertise system in the area. It was decided to merge the communal healthcare institution "Regional Medical and Social Expertise Center" with the "Regional Clinical Hospital".
As noted by the Director of the Health Department of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Tatyana Demenko, the closure of the center is part of a large-scale reform. In place of the traditional system, expert teams will emerge, operating within cluster and super-cluster hospitals in the region. The staff from the center will be transferred to the regional hospital, where they will be offered positions as treating physicians.
"Former heads of the Medical and Social Expertise Center will not be able to hold positions in the new expert teams, as their functions will change," explained Tatyana Demenko.
This reform aims to enhance the efficiency of the healthcare system in light of the challenges facing the region.
