As a result of an enemy airstrike in Kupiansk, a civilian has died.

This was reported by the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the investigation, yesterday, November 29, around 16:00, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on the village of Kovsharivka in the Kupiansk district. A 74-year-old man was killed. Residential buildings and an educational institution were damaged.

Preliminary reports indicate that the Russian army struck the settlement with a FAB-500 bomb.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kupiansk district prosecutor's office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Prosecutors and investigative police are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by the Russian military.
