In the Kharkiv region, a person was fined 85 UAH for launching fireworks.

Despite the ban in the Kharkiv region, citizens continue to set off fireworks.
В Харьковской области за запуск фейерверков нарушитель получил штраф в размере 85 грн.

In a year, there were four violations of the fireworks ban in the Kharkiv region; however, the top three regions with violations were Kyiv, Odesa, and Dnipro.

This information was reported on the website of the analytical service "Opendatabot," as conveyed by "Dumka."

According to the bot, as of November 6, 2023, Law No. 7438 came into effect in Ukraine, which strictly prohibits the use, sale, and distribution of most types of pyrotechnics, including fireworks, firecrackers, and rockets. This ban has been in place since the onset of full-scale invasion and is aimed at ensuring public safety, especially in wartime conditions.

Despite this, four violations have been recorded in the Kharkiv region. One of the most recent fines was imposed on October 31, 2024, with a penalty amounting to only 85 UAH.

Over the past three years, the highest number of pyrotechnics violations was recorded in Kyiv, with 11 convictions. The courts in Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions handled 6 and 5 cases, respectively. Fines for such violations vary significantly, ranging from 54 to 34 thousand UAH.

Ukrainian law enforcement urges citizens to comply with the law and reminds that the use of pyrotechnics can not only lead to administrative penalties but also pose a danger to others during wartime.
