In the Kharkiv region, Russian occupiers are launching daily assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with waves of up to 100 infantry soldiers.
This was reported by the publication "ArmyInform," citing the commander of the "Terra" unit of the Third Separate Assault Brigade, Nikolai Volkov, during a telethon titled "Unified News," as conveyed by "Dumka."
"In the area of responsibility of the Third Separate Assault Brigade in the Kharkiv region, not a single meter of Ukrainian land has been surrendered. We are steadfastly holding the defense. Our assault mechanized battalions, anti-tank, and tank battalions are all performing their duties as per the commander’s orders," he emphasized.
According to him, the enemy has begun to use armored vehicles less frequently. Additionally, the current weather makes it difficult to utilize armored equipment. Therefore, the occupiers are attempting to advance, but where Ukrainian FPV drones are operating, it becomes very challenging, as everything gets destroyed.
"The occupiers continue to actively advance with infantry. They have decided that this is more effective at the moment. Of course, they do not lose a hundred soldiers every day, but they can afford assaults with up to 100 soldiers. They come wave after wave. I believe that the goal of such assaults is to exhaust the Ukrainian defense and reduce the number of munitions," Volkov added.
