When will Ukraine experience severe frosts, with temperatures dropping to -12°C?

On Saturday, December 14, cold weather will replace the warmth in Ukraine. At night, temperatures in many regions will drop to -12…-13 degrees.

This is reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center. The coldest temperatures at night will be in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, and Chernivtsi regions, where the air temperature will fall to -11…-13 degrees.

In Volyn, Rivne, Lviv, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Cherkasy regions, nighttime temperatures will be between -10 and -12 degrees.

In Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions, nighttime temperatures will range from -8 to -10 degrees. In Donetsk region and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, temperatures will drop to -6…-8 degrees at night.

In Luhansk region, nighttime temperatures will be -7…-9 degrees, and in Kharkiv region, they will range from -9 to -11 degrees.

Daytime temperatures will also be low: in western Ukraine, the thermometer will fluctuate between -5 and +1 degrees, while in the center, south, north, and east, temperatures will range from -6 to +3 degrees.

Let us remind you that a real winter continues in Kyiv, but it will not last long. Very soon, thermometer readings in the capital may drop close to -10 degrees.
