Recently, Ukraine experienced a true winter. With biting frosts (on the night of December 13-14, temperatures dropped to -13°C) and snowfall. However, it won’t last long in Ukraine.
Weather forecasters are warning of a rapid warming approaching our country. This is mentioned in the forecast from the Ukrainian Hydro-Meteorological Center for the upcoming days.
On Saturday, December 14, Ukrainians can expect genuine winter weather. Temperatures will vary significantly across different regions of the country. During the day, forecasters promise sunny conditions.
On Sunday, December 15, temperatures in most regions will hover around 0 °C. The Sumy and Chernihiv regions will be exceptions, where slight frosts down to -3 °C are possible. Meanwhile, the weather will be milder in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, reaching +2 to +4 °C.
0The sky will become overcast, and snow is expected. Southern, southeastern, and eastern regions may experience wet snow mixed with rain. Meteorologists advise being particularly cautious on roads and slippery surfaces.
Sunday, December 16, will start with precipitation across the country. The south and Zaporizhzhia region will see rain with temperatures around +3 to +5 °C. Other regions can expect wet snow and rain with temperatures near 0°C.
1"On Sunday, December 15, the frost will retreat; however, cloud cover will increase, and precipitation will appear. Since warm air won’t completely push away the frost yet, precipitation is expected mainly in the form of snow and wet snow, making roads difficult, so please take this into consideration," — added renowned meteorologist Natalia Didenko.
