Spring is just around the corner: what temperatures can we expect in Kyiv during the final days of the week?

Throughout the week, the weather in Kyiv has been frosty and mostly clear. However, at the beginning of March, clouds, precipitation, and warming will sweep into the city.

The longest periods of rain and snow are expected on Saturday. They will start in the morning and continue until almost evening, as reported by Meteofor.

Friday, February 28, will be partly cloudy but without precipitation. The daytime temperature will rise to +5 degrees, while nighttime readings will hover around -3 degrees. Wind speeds will not exceed a moderate 6-7 m/s.

The first weekend, March 1, will be marked by heavy cloud cover and light rain mixed with snow. Precipitation is expected from night until evening. During the day, temperatures will warm up to +1 degree, while at night, it will cool down to 0. The strongest wind gusts are anticipated in the morning and daytime — a moderate 7 m/s.

On Sunday, March 2, overcast skies and occasional rain are also forecasted, particularly during the day. However, the precipitation will be minimal. Temperatures during the day will reach +4 degrees, while at night, they will drop to 0. Maximum wind gusts are expected in the morning and afternoon — light at 5 m/s.
