Massive shelling of the outskirts of Kharkiv on February 27: Here’s what we know so far.

In the Kharkiv region, a facility of the energy system and residential housing were under attack by the Russians.

As reported by "Dumka," this was stated by Dmitry Chubenko, the spokesperson for the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office.

According to him, the shelling occurred yesterday, February 27, from 20:00 to 21:00. The nearest suburb of Kharkiv came under fire, with at least 14 hits recorded.

"The targets included an energy system facility, the private housing sector, and one of the civilian enterprises," he said.

At one of the locations where the enemy struck, two people were injured – a 68-year-old woman and a 75-year-old man. They sustained soft tissue injuries to their bodies and heads. Approximately 20 residential houses were damaged.

The Russian army used Shahed-type drones for the shelling.

The investigation is ongoing under part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
