The "Servant of the People" party has allocated 90 million UAH to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine. This substantial amount of aid is being directed by the political force for the second time in 2024.
This was announced by the head of the "Servant of the People" party, Member of Parliament Yelena Shulyak, as reported by "Dumka".
"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly emphasized that there is only one political party capable of winning – it is the People of Ukraine. There is no political force that can defeat the enemy independently. The 'Servant of the People' operates under this logic and directs maximum efforts to support the Ukrainian military. At the beginning of the war, the party immediately reassessed its priorities, enabling it to save state funding. Therefore, the Political Council of the party decided to allocate an additional 90 million UAH. 'Servant of the People' is currently the only party that has contributed in this way to establishing a just peace in Ukraine. I am grateful to our Political Council, which did not hesitate for a second after I voiced this initiative and supported the decision," notes Yelena Shulyak.
She adds that during the full-scale war, the "Servant of the People" has already directed 400 million UAH to the Defense Forces, and an additional 49 million UAH of saved funding has been allocated to the state budget. These funds have been used to purchase, among other things, domestic anti-tank missile systems "Stugna-P" for the National Guard and 2000 short-range electronic warfare systems.
"Stugnas" are already operating in the hottest areas of the front, where they are destroying the enemy, while the EW systems on the front line protect our equipment and help save thousands of lives of Ukrainian soldiers. The main principle in this war, emphasizes Yelena Shulyak, is this: technology should fight, not people. And the entire team of Ukraine is working on its implementation to continue to preserve the lives and health of our heroes as much as possible.
In all matters related to assistance for the Defense Forces, adds Yelena Shulyak, the deputies of the "Servant of the People" party in the regions show an extremely active stance, consistently supporting the allocation of additional funds for defense and often initiating such decisions in their local councils.
"The 'Servant of the People' party, our deputies, and party members across Ukraine are consistently and systematically directing funds and various forms of support to the army and will continue to do so until Ukraine achieves complete victory," concludes Yelena Shulyak.
