It has been revealed how the MSEC was reformed in the Kharkiv region.

Based on 18 institutions in Kharkiv and the surrounding region, 86 expert teams have been established, comprising 325 doctors from various specialties.

This was announced during a briefing by the chief specialist of the Health Department of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Yekaterina Sinko, as reported by "Dumka".

According to her, as of January 1, 2025, 86 new expert medical teams began operating in the Kharkiv region. They have been formed at 18 hospitals, including six of the region's most powerful medical institutions, four leading hospitals in Kharkiv, and six facilities under regional jurisdiction.

Among the institutions where the new teams are working are the Regional Clinical Hospital, the Oncology Center, the Phthisiopulmonology Center, Psychiatric Hospital No. 3, the Cardiology Center, the Traumatology Hospital, as well as leading city hospitals in Kharkiv and district hospitals in Izium, Zmiiv, Balakliia, Lozova, Chuhuiv, and other localities.

The newly formed teams include 325 highly qualified doctors from various specializations: general practice, cardiology, psychiatry, traumatology, oncology, and phthisiatry.

As of December 25, the expert teams have processed 2,725 cases transferred from the reformed Medical and Social Expert Commissions (MSEC). In each institution, two teams are working on these cases, each consisting of at least three specialists.
