In Kharkiv, during the course of yesterday, it was possible to partially restore heating to approximately 200,000 apartments of the city's residents.

The mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, reported this on his Telegram channel, as conveyed by "Dumka".

He noted that despite the shelling of the city's heating plants last night, on December 25, it was possible to partially resume the heating supply in Kharkiv.

"Despite the shelling and all the difficulties, by the evening, we managed to partially restore the central heating supply to residential buildings in the city. Currently, this concerns 1,378 residential buildings - about 200,000 apartments. However, work is still ongoing," Terekhov wrote.

Specialists continued their work overnight to ensure warmth in every home as quickly as possible.

Let us remind you that on Christmas, December 25, the Russian terrorist army launched a massive missile attack in Kharkiv. The occupiers fired 12 missiles at thermal and energy generation facilities. Six civilians were injured, two of whom were hospitalized. Half a million residents were left without electricity and heating.
