In Kharkiv, a woman received assistance after being evicted from her apartment by her own son, who also threatened her with physical harm.
This information was reported by the communication department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the police, late in the evening, a report of domestic violence was received. On the street, law enforcement officers found a 66-year-old woman who explained that her 44-year-old son, while intoxicated, had insulted her and threatened her with violence, eventually kicking her out of the apartment.
The authorities accompanied the woman to her apartment, but the man did not open the door. As a result, they were unable to enter the home.
The woman did not have any relatives or friends to turn to for help, nor did she have the funds to rent accommodation. Consequently, the police suggested she reach out to the Center for Assistance to Victims of Violence, which they later escorted her to in a service vehicle.
