In Kharkiv, a man threatened his partner with his fists; the police have intervened.

An investigation has been launched in Kharkiv regarding a man who insulted his partner and threatened her with physical harm.

This information was reported by the communication department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the police, law enforcement officials have repeatedly responded to calls at the residence of the 53-year-old man. The 48-year-old woman he abused has made several complaints to the police. The offender consistently engaged in disputes and made threats of violence.

Previously, the authorities had drawn up protocols for administrative offenses under Article 173-2 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. Currently, they have gathered evidence that has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Article 126-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Domestic Violence).
