A resident of Kharkiv has been found guilty of inflicting minor bodily harm on a military enlistment office employee and fined 850 UAH.
This information was reported to "Dumka" following a decision by the Moscow District Court of Kharkiv.
According to the registry, the incident occurred on February 6 in one of the territorial recruitment centers (TRC) in Kharkiv. Around 7:30 AM, a man, who was brought to the TRC by a notification group, began to argue with a soldier who was finishing his shift.
The argument quickly escalated into a fight – the accused pushed the soldier several times and then pulled out a metal flashlight from his pocket and struck him on the head. The victim sustained a concussion and a contused wound, which the forensic medical examination classified as minor bodily harm.
The court found the assailant guilty under part 1 of article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and imposed a fine of 850 UAH. No civil claim was filed in the case.
